Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) scolded the senator for opposing the House GOP budget from Rep. Paul Ryan.

An Illinois Republican on Monday said Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) should be "ashamed of himself" for opposing Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) budget plan.

"Respectfully, Scott Brown ought to be ashamed of himself," Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) told Neil Cavuto on the Fox Business Network. "This is the defining moment of this generation. We have got to be bold. We know these entitlements have to be reformed to be saved. He knows that."

Walsh added that any Republican opposed to the plan was motivated by "political reasons."

"Any Republican that doesn’t vote for this or doesn’t support this is purely being guided by political reasons," Walsh continued. "This is not time to be politically scared. Every day I am in this town I am more convinced this president has no clue as to the financial cliff we are about to fall off of.”

Case in point is Bozo-impersonator, James Aledsi who attended a dinner hosted by The Empire State Pride Agenda, the biggest gay-rights lobby in New York. Bozo the Alesi, previously voted against gay-nups in 2009 that helped kill the bill. So over the weekend he’s playing footsy with ESPA and hinting he may vote “yes”?

Makes me wonder what was promised to Alesi—free life time pedicures? Or just plain old cash to keep his seat?

Another candidate has entered the Republican presidential field. Former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination in his home town of Atlanta, Georgia today. Instead of announcing via social networking websites, Cain, currently a talk radio host, made his announcement at a rally in Centennial Olympic Park.
Cain said, “I‘m running for president of the United States and I’m not running for second.”
Cain joins the field that includes Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), former Governor Gary Johnson (R-NM), and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA).

In a most disgusting display of hubris and ignorance, President Barack Hussein Obama called on the state of Israel to retreat to their 1967 borders.

I couldn’t believe my ears!

Obama might as well have handed Hamas the launch codes to one thousand Trident missiles if he thinks that giving up the strategically vital Golan Heights and other buffer zones is something Israel should do.

Once again Obama has reminded the world that it’s amateur hour at the White House.

Liberals love to dub the uprisings in Muslims countries throughout the Middle East as the so-called “Arab Spring”. It’s a catchy albeit meaningless slogan that gives a false impression of hope and progress for that troubled part of the world. What’s really happening amongst the false clamoring for freedom is a call for the freedom to destroy Israel once and for all.

In essence, Obama has told Israel, “Go to Hell!” And he’s clearly aligning himself with his Muslim comrades that he’s constantly reaching out to.

Iran is busily trying to develop nuclear weapons to use against Israel and Obama does nothing to stop it, and probably prays for it.

It’s a sad day indeed and I hope Israel survives long enough before something truly tragic happens until Obama can be removed from office in 2012.

The life and the safety of Israel depends on it!

I’ve seen better. But, here’s the thing that Democrats don’t get. The aren’t stupid! They know they’re being played and don’t like their intelligence insulted by the jackass party.

It’s a good try though.

Here in New York we have a joke of a Democrat named John Liu who got elected comptroller. During his campaign his he falsely claimed he worked in sweatshops as a youth.

So the man is dishonest!

But, he got elected anyway because of…wait for it….massive labor union support. That’s how Democrats roll in this one party town.
After he was elected, he ordered staff at the comptroller’s office to stand up whenever he enters a room and address him as, “Mr. Comptroller.” That’s how much of a narcissist he is.

Liu, the egomaniacal union suck up got called out by a Supreme Court Justice for coming up with a wage-scale for movers in contract to do work for the city that would pay a rate of $38.90 an hour over to the private sector rate of $12.00 an hour.

So instead of looking out for taxpayers of NYC, Liu tries to hand his union masters a whopping 221% wage increase! If this isn’t institutional corruption, what is?

And here’s another kick in the head. Liu is supposed to be a leading candidate for mayor in 2013.

Can this man stop and realize that apologizing to Paul Ryan changes nothing?

Politico has the skinny on the Gingrich damage control tour replete with conference calls and some major attempts to kiss conservative ass.

“Newt apologized,” said Rick Tyler, his press secretary and longtime aide. “The call went very well.”




Even if Newt broke out sackcloth and ashes and began wailing, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” it won’t be able to remove the big fork sticking out of his back!

“Without fellow Southerners Haley Barbour or Mike Huckabee in the race -- and with Newt Gingrich's early troubles raising further doubts about the current lineup -- there could be a glaring niche for Perry to fill.”

I love me some Rick Perry if he decides to shake Texas loose in exchange for Pennsylvania. He’s a heavy hittin’ conservative that doesn’t mince words.

What the hell happened to the Newt I used to know?

It’s only been a few days since Newt’s announced his run for the GOP nomination, and already he’s running off the rails seeking the approval of the Left wing media by bashing a Republican plan.

I have spoken to conservative blogger friends of mine and none of us really think much of Newt anymore. But, I held my tongue and didn’t say anything about him on TLT.

However, if this is the way Newt is going to come out the box, sorry buddy, all bets are off!

National Review reports Newt Gingrich’s appearance on “Meet the Press” today could leave some wondering which party’s nomination he is running for. The former speaker had some harsh words for Paul Ryan’s (and by extension, nearly every House Republican’s) plan to reform Medicare, calling it “radical.”

“I don’t think right-wing social engineering is any more desirable than left-wing social engineering,” he said when asked about Ryan’s plan to transition to a “premium support” model for Medicare. “I don’t think imposing radical change from the right or the left is a very good way for a free society to operate.”

That 60% AP poll is just another example of the Obama lovin’ media ginning up his numbers. It’s sp blatant it’s ridiculous.

I remember it well.

I work in an office filled with Democrats and 99.9% of my black co-workers were staunch Hillary Clinton supporters. Most of the whites too.

So I used to chided my friends, “Hey, how come you ain’t support’en da bratha?”

“Oh, he has no shot. Pleeeese!”

That changed in less than 12 hours after Barack Obama won Iowa Caucuses.

The very next day I heard “OBANA! OBAMA!” chant all over the office.

So I asked my friend again, “What happened with Hillary?’

“Who?”

People are trying to play if off, but Obama was a total unknown. And the talking heads didn’t give him a shot.
So if you think Herman Cain can’t come out the blue to make a serious run, think again!

I think a lot of commentators will think Huckabee not running will help not to split the social conservative vote. Although that may be the case, who will they say it will benefit the most?

I say Herman Cain may be doing cartwheels today.

Fox News reports the show is normally prerecorded before it airs at 8 p.m. ET, but Huckabee saved the last 10 minutes of tonight’s broadcast to make his announcement live.

"The past few months have been times of deep personal reflection," Huckabee said. "Even though I wasn't actively establishing a campaign organization or seeking financial support to run again, polls have consistently put me at or near the top to be the Republican nominee."

"But I know that under the best of circumstances, being President is a job that takes one to the limit of his or her human capacity," he continued. "I can't know or predict the future, but I know for now my answer is clear and firm: I will not seek the Republican nomination for President this year."

Huckabee said others probably thought about a presidential bid more than he did.

"I had not done much toward a race because my life was filled with work that I truly love here at Fox News, doing radio commentaries on my daily Huckabee Report on 600 radio stations, traveling the country for speaking engagements, and helping good conservative, pro-life candidates who were running for office," he said.

Donald Trump delivered a message after Huckabee's decision to opt out.

"A lot of people are very happy that he will not be running, especially other candidates, so Mike enjoy the show," Trump said. "The ratings are terrific. Good luck."

So far, the so-called experts aren’t given Herman Cain a mention as a serious contender for the GOP nomination. I think nobody wants to stick their necks out and damage their credibility.

But, let me to you something. Cain is gonna make a huge wave because he has nothing to loose. Out of all potential GOP candidates, he’s the most dynamic speaker. As we all know that’s goes a long way. But, more than just that. Cain is not afraid to articulate conservatism without adding qualifiers.

Don’t be surprised to see pundits jump on the Cain bandwagon as more people react positively to his message.

Politico reports Herman Cain told Georgia Republicans Saturday that being No. 2 economically and militarily is "not in our DNA."

The Atlanta businessman and former talk radio host delivered a rousing speech to party activists at the Georgia GOP's convention that echoed themes he's given in previous speeches, including his rallying cry that the American dream is under attack by runaway debt.


While Cain has never held elected office — he lost a 2004 Georgia Senate bid in the Republican primary — he received an enthusiastic response in his home state, bringing those in attendance to their feet 10 times, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Cain, who supports replacing the federal income tax with a national sales tax, called for cutting taxes to stimulate the economy.

"It's time to tell the people the truth, lower taxes are good for the economy, and we don't have any intention of hurting old people, children or puppy dogs," Cain said.

Cain will formally announce his White House bid next Saturday at an Atlanta rally.

Oh yes, it most certainly looks like re-election time!

It’s to the president’s best interests, and the country as a whole to open up areas for more drilling.

But just how much will Obama have to turn himself into a pretzel to appease his environmental base?

This will be very interesting to see because these enviro-nuts won’t be the least bit happy amd most likely will feel betrayed.

Politico reports President Barack Obama is looking to bolster U.S. oil drilling, announcing Saturday a preemptive strike against bolder efforts from Capitol Hill as consumer unrest deepens over the price at the pump.

The White House will move forward without congressional action on a set of ideas espoused by Republicans and oil-state Democrats to expand oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska and potentially parts of the Atlantic seaboard.


It’s the closest Obama has come to rivaling his short-lived pro-drilling stance that ended with the BP oil spill.

At the same time, Obama is also firing up the liberal Democratic base by urging Congress to repeal billions of dollars in oil-industry tax incentives and to raise fees against companies that do not act quickly on drilling leases they own.

“Without a doubt, one of the biggest burdens over the last few months has been the price of gasoline,” Obama said in his fourth weekly address in a row and fifth in seven weeks to touch on energy issues.

Gas prices are now averaging more than $4 a gallon in many areas ahead of the start of the summer driving season, when prices usually peak.

The situation is precarious for Obama, who must balance the need to work with a starkly divided Congress against his own effort to win a second term.

“These spikes in gas prices are often temporary, and while there are no quick fixes to the problem, there are a few steps we should take that make good sense,” Obama said.

Attorney General Eric Holder is leading a task force investigating possible fraud, manipulation and illegal activity by traders and speculators that might be leading to the spike in prices.

But drilling is where the political problems lie for the White House. Republicans and oil-state Democrats have continued to criticize Obama and the Interior Department for what they say is a dramatic slowdown in new permits off and on shore.

“[W]e should increase safe and responsible oil production here at home,” Obama said. “Last year, America’s oil production reached its highest level since 2003. But I believe that we should expand oil production in America — even as we increase safety and environmental standards.”

Obama is now looking to give a blanket extension to all oil and gas leases in the Gulf of Mexico due to the disruption caused by last year’s Gulf spill and subsequent administration ban and slow-down of drilling permits. By doing so, Obama is at least touching on an idea advocated by Republicans as part of a three-part offshore drilling package the House approved this month.

The devil will be in the details to see if this is merely a cosmetic proposal for Obama’s re-election bid. But, if he really means increasing domestic production, then this is good news for America.

The Blaze reports as you may know, the Obama administration’s National Labor Relations Board is trying to tell the Boeing Company how to run its business. To wit, the NLRB is telling Boeing that it cannot open a plant in business-friendly South Carolina. South Carolina is a right-to-work state, meaning that it has “a law against compulsory union membership” — so is the NLRB retaliating on behalf of labor?



It’s the first time a federal agency has intervened to tell an American company where it can and cannot operate a plant within the U.S. It lays the foundation of a regulatory wall with one express purpose: to prevent the direct competition of right-to-work states with union-shop states.
