Ah…excuse me? NATO admits they can’t prevent slaughter in Libya. So, what does Obama do now?

This story that appeared in the NY Post yesterday buried on pg 19. How convenient, for if it were a Republican president that plunged the country into a 3rd war in the Middle East, only to find out that all that bombing had zero effect on achieving the so-called humanitarian goal of preventing genocide, it would be splashed all over the front pages of the New York Times and The Washington Post as a colossal blunder of presidential leadership.
I screamed before on this blog that the bombing and setting up a “No Fly Zone” wouldn’t be enough to stop Ghadafi.
If I knew that and I’m only a little blogger, why didn’t President Obama know it?
New York Post reports NATO has destroyed more than 40 of Moammar Khadafy's tanks in the besieged Libyan city of Misrata -- but is powerless to halt the massacre there, officials admitted yesterday.
"There is a limit to what can be achieved by air power to stop fighting in a city," said NATO Brig. Gen. Mark van Uhm of the Netherlands. He blamed Khadafy for hiding tanks in civilian areas and using civilians as human shields.
Anti-government forces in Misrata formally asked rebel leaders at the Transitional National Council in Benghazi to request NATO troops to help them defend their city. The council hadn't responded.
But Britain said it would send up to 20 senior officers to Benghazi to help organize opposition forces.
The advisers will be under a joint British-French command and will train the rebels, but will not supply arms or assist in attacks, officials said.
And Italy said coalition forces may also supply radar, night-vision gear and other equipment to the besieged rebels.

This story has fallen off the map because the Obama-lovin’ media won’t report the situation in Libya because it will embarrass Obama. But, our enemies around the world know. They know that Obama is a pussy and the United States can be pushed around, no problem.
We’re going to pay a huge price for this.
